Updates for Sewcials, parking ...

Hi everyone!

Just a little update on Sewcials as we get towards holiday season. Going forward, I've decided to change the Friday morning to the first Friday of the month. Hopefully this new date will make it easier for me (and you) to know when it's happening and plan accordingly. Also, it's a slightly later start time of 10.30am.

Wednesday Sewcials - unfortunately I've taken the decision to pause these for the time being. I may bring back evening sewcials in future if there's demand.

Parking near Banks Mill - Good news! In the last few weeks I've noticed an improvement in street parking around the studios. This is due to Joseph Wright college and the University being in the exam period. Street parking will definitely quieten down over the summer months while these on are their breaks. Not sure yet what impact the new University Business school building will have on parking in September (probably not good though).

I'll be at Derby SEND Voice's event at the Museum of Making, Saturday 24th May 10 - 4pm. This a great way for families to find out about local services, events and general information on topics relating to special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
