At Freckle, students have the opportunity to learn a range of creative techniques within Art, Textiles, Art History and more.

Lesson content can be steered to support special interests or 'child led', ensuring learners have 'a voice'.

Examples of textiles techniques -

  • hand embroidery

  • applique

  • toy making

  • sashiko (Japanese)

  • upcycling and mending textiles

  • sewing machine (functional and free motion)

Sessions can be funded privately by parents/carers or by arrangement with your School/Local Authority.

  • 1 to 1 learning is bespoke to individual's needs, with flexibility for 'child-led' projects

  • Small groups, max. of 4 learners, allowing for more attention, support and a quieter environment.

Young people have the opportunity to study an Arts Award course, leading to a recognised qualification accredited by Trinity College London.  In future, we plan to offer ASDAN Short Courses in Humanities based subjects.
